Homecare Aide
Job Description
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual eager to support the community and assist the elderly. The homecare Aide is an unlicensed employee, trained to perform a variety of household tasks, including housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, personal care, shopping assistance, and other routine activities for clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
The duties consist of a combination of activities, which include, but are not limited to:
- Execute tasks as outlined in the Plan of Care for each assigned client.
- Report any issues or concerns to the assigned Home Care Supervisor promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the client’s home.
- Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Attend and participate in 10 hours of in-service training annually.
- Must be able to hear and speak in a manner understood by most people.
- Must be able to stoop and bend.
- Must be able to carry bundles weighing up to 10 pounds, upstairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a working environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Completion of initial Agency training

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a homecare aide is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of performing the required tasks.
- Clear background check required at the time of hiring.
